Warm Brie and Blackberries
Baked brie may just be one of the easiest appetizers, snacks, or single-serve lunches you can prepare. My mother would slather honey and almonds over brie some nights , microwave it for 1 minute, and that would be our dinner. And while that plate of gooeyness is nostalgic, there is always room for elevation.
One round of Brie
3-5 tbsp honey, depending on your sweetness taste
2-3 handfuls of blackberries
3ish tbsp crushed pistachios
Preheat your oven (or toaster oven) to 300°.
Assemble your brie, blackberries, and honey in an oven-safe tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until bubbly. The Brie should start to ooze out from its rind. That’s when you’ll know the inside is warm and gooey.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with pistachios, and serve immediately.
Pair with crackers of choice or a baguette. Wine should usually be involved, but is not a necessity. Have more on hand in case you run out.
